Talladega County has always been a proactive county when it comes to emergency preparedness. We have prospered by our past leadership and through the financial influx of the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program funds.

As CSEPP closes and we move into another opened door of opportunity, I would like to see us improve on our emergency preparedness level. We want to provide an effective and efficient agency for all first responders, businesses and citizens. We want to maintain your confidence in our preparedness, response and recovery efforts.

We are embracing the challenges brought about by the close of the CSEP program. We hope that you will join with us in making Talladega County the most prepared county within the State of Alabama and the Southeast Region of the United States. We are committed to providing the highest standard of vital emergency management services. We would like for you to aid us in committing your time to prepare for a disaster whether it be manmade or natural. Please take time to sit down and talk with your family, create a plan, prepare a supply kit and practice often your response plan.

Finally, remember, your family's preparedness level is your responsibility. Please take time to browse through our website and to use the information within to do your part in helping to reach our goal of "Team Talladega - ALLways Prepared."
